Line 1:
'''''Mods''''' (short for '''''modifications''''') change the Ricochet games' content from what it originally was. Mods can add various content such as adding new environments to explore, or new player ship/ball designs to play with.

== List of mods ==
A list of environment mods can be found at the [[Environments#Mods]] page.

For even more mods, see [https://discord.com/channels/295184393109110785/390998849537310721 #mod-showcase on Discord].

== Usage ==
If the mod is packaged in a
.RED
file, it can be placed on the same folder with
RicochetInfinity.exe
, the game will automatically read these files on launch.

== Compatibility ==
Environment mods are generally compatible with other mods as the files wouldn't be overwriting other files. This is not always true for gameplay mods (e.g. adding new player ships/balls) as they need to overwrite the same files (e.g. Main Menu) to insert the new designs.

If a level set uses files/mods that are not publicly released, the level set will not load for other people that don't have those files.
